As a step for awareness for environment young aspirants organised environmental awareness run and saplings were also planted today by Deep Jyoti Socio-Environmental Society at 5:30 am Reporting place was at Deva Kumar hall Bishnupur (near Meghalaya rural bank), Total number of people participated was 25...out of which was 14 were in the male categories and 11 were in the female category.
On the occasion of World Environment week on 2nd June 2019 a drawing , essay and a carom competition was organised by Deep Jyoti Socio-Environmental Society at Sankardev Vidhyapith Bishnupur, Shillong. A total of 32 schools participated and total number of participants were 78 in drawing, 40 in carom and 35 in essay. The prizes will be distributed on 16th of June 2019 at 4:30 pm at Deva Kumar hall Bishnupur. Deep Jyoti Socio-Environmental society will also organised an Environmental Awareness Run on 5th of June at 5:30 am. All are welcome to participate; the Reporting place for the Run will be at Deva Kumar hall Bishnupur (near Meghalaya Rural Bank).
