Pav Bhaji

Recipe for Pav Bhaji by Noami's Kitchen


Dry ingredients :----


Pav bun : 8 to 10 pieces

Turmeric powder : 1 tea spoon

Fennel seeds powder/sauf : 1 tea spoon

Cumin seeds powder /jeera : 1 tea spoon

Chilli powder: 1 tea spoon

Coriander powder /dhanya : 1 tea spoon

Garam masala powder : 1 tea spoon 

Cardamom/ elaichi : 2 pieces

Cumin seeds /jeera : 1 tea spoon

Butter- 200 grams

Salt to taste

Oil to fry

Raw ingredients :------------


Cauliflower : 250 grams

Capcicum : 2 large

Beans : 100 grams

Beatroot : 2 small

Potato : 2 to 3 medium

Onions : 4 to 5 large nos

Garlic : 50 grams

Ginger : 50 grams

Green chilli : 2 to 3 nos

Tomato : 2 large

Coriander leaves : half bunch

Water to boil

Procedure :-------


Boil the mentioned vegetables and keep aside


Make ginger and garlic paste and keep aside 


Chop the onions and tomatoes separately


In a pan heat 2 table spoons of oil. 


Add Cumin seeds, cardamom and chopped onions and fry till golden brown.


Add the ginger garlic paste and let it fry as well till golden brown.


Add the remaining of the dry ingredients and fry in low flame for 2 minutes. Then add the chopped tomatoes. 


Add the boiled vegetables and smash it to look like a paste in life flame. Sprinkle salt to taste. 


Add the butter on it and keep stirring it. 


Garnish it with coriander leaves. 


In a separate pan heat the Pav bun on butter and serve both hot in a plate. 


Beside this you can have it with salsa like raw chopped onion, chilli, coriander, cabbage and two slice of lemon.
